From early mornings to late afternoons, Mr. Jim works tirelessly to keep our classrooms clean, our hallways safe, and our school environment welcoming for everyone. His kindness, dedication, and constant hard work never go unnoticed — and we are so lucky to have him as part of our school family. 🙌

Whether it’s fixing what’s broken, keeping things spotless, or brightening our day with a friendly smile, Mr. Jim does it all — and always with heart.

Guess what human body system Third Grade is learning about today?

Third Grade wrapped up their Animal Classification unit with a visit from the Tennessee Aquarium. They brought different types of animals and skeletons for our students to interact with. As a closing activity, students used Legos to build an animal and classify it. It was a great day at Arnold Memorial Elementary School!

Congratulations to Amy Norwood our Teacher of the Month! Mrs. Norwood jumped into the ERC classroom after the school year started and has done an amazing job. She has completely transformed the room, built strong routines, cares deeply for her students, and always gives her best.
Her positivity and dedication have already made a tremendous impact on our school! We are so lucky to have her as part of our Arnold Family!

Our kindergarteners have been busy learning all their favorite nursery rhymes — and what better way to celebrate than with a Nursery Rhyme Olympics? 🏅

From jumping over candlesticks like Jack, to crawling like the Itsy Bitsy Spider 🕷️, carrying eggs like Humpty Dumpty 🥚, sticking their thumbs in Christmas pies like Little Jack Horner 🥧, and even dropping Humpty (gently, of course!) — it was a day full of laughter, learning, and LOTS of rhyming fun!

We’re so proud of our little rhyme stars! 🌟📚
