Monday night was a special evening as we celebrated our amazing 5th grade students during Awards Night! 🎉
Our students were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments throughout the school year. Awards included:

Boys Basketball tryouts for upcoming 6th graders at Cleveland Middle School will be held May 26th & May 27th! This is a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills, meet future teammates, and get involved at CMS.

Second graders from Arnold Elementary had a great day of learning at the Denning Center during today’s Water Safety Event! 💦
Through a partnership with Cleveland Family YMCA Aquatics, students were taught essential life-saving skills, including how to safely enter and exit the water, basic floating and swimming techniques, and what to do in an emergency. They also learned the importance of wearing life jackets, recognizing water hazards, and how to help others safely by throwing a flotation device instead of entering the water.
We’re proud of these students for building confidence and skills that will help keep them safe around water this summer and beyond. A big thank you to our partners who helped make this hands-on learning experience possible!

Our 3rd grade classes earned a well-deserved reward for having perfect attendance during TCAP testing! Today at recess, they celebrated by getting to pie Mr. Chai and Dr. Kahrs with shaving cream. Needless to say, this was the highlight of their week!

Mrs. Cantrell is incredibly welcoming and encouraging to both students and faculty, always greeting everyone with a smile and willingly assisting students as needed. She goes above and beyond by supporting extracurricular activities, managing classes and technology, and serving on committees with ease. A true rockstar, she builds meaningful relationships with her students and brings an unmatched work ethic.

The castle of Arnold was full of giggles as our kindergarteners became princes and princesses for the day! Our Royal Tea Party was the perfect royal finale to our kings and queens unit. There were crowns, curtsies, royal manners, tasty treats, and smiles from ear to ear. It was a day fit for royalty — and so much fun!
